A 13 year old 4Runner was having trouble getting the rear carpet wet. It smelled like my son's socks were hidden somewhere in the car. After doing a whole car smell test, I thought it was coming from the carpet in the trunk. The rug is of good quality, looks durable and has a nice diamond shaped surface to keep it in place. My only complaints about this rug: 1) This product is advertised as "odorless". The first few days I put a carpet in the car, a characteristic smell of petrol emanated from it. It went down significantly over the weekend until I stopped noticing a smell from the carpet. 2) My biggest complaint is that I trusted Revain Garage's recommendations. They said it "FITS MY 4Runner". Sure, it "fits," but it also leaves about 2 inches of carpeting on the sides and a whopping 6 inches in the back. I have included two photos showing the fit as it came out of the box. Image 1. Shows the amount of visible space when the mat is in the center. That's the same amount of freedom on both sides. Picture 2 shows the open space at the back of the seat. The mat only covers the part that pops out. I sometimes blame myself for trusting Amazon's workshop recommendation without first measuring my cargo space.
