I don't care if you call it a chick chain saw or what but it just works great for me. Being a small built woman it is not feasible to use those big hunky chain saw. I doubt I could even start it in the first place. This one I just charge the battery the night before then put it in the socket and ready to go. With one charge it last a long while. However, I would say for hardwood like cedar and crape myrtle they are not like cut through butter. Try something easier like a pine first and get a hang of it before going for the hard wood.
