Quality disappointing

Several deficiencies stand out with this saw. I am arthritic, but still have fairly strong hands, but find the saw hard to engage and hard to keep engaged on a piece of wood. Must frequently restart after shifting hand position. This is likely due to cheap Chinese parts (read "electrical switches") being used. I notice a lot of sparking inside the motor. This indicates to me a number of possible deficiencies including, but not limited to, poor design, poor construction, poor materials used and…

Pros
  • Used it for cutting small trees grown up around my yard
Cons
  • May cause hand cramps during extended use

Pretty heavy. Needs machine oil.

Too heavy for me too use.I was very excited to try trimming small shrubs in my yard - and loved the look and sound of this product.Unfortunately- I never got a chance. It wasn’t easy to get the machine oil (which I hadn’t expected to NOT come with the unit) added into the well. And frankly - the unit was so much heavier than i thought it would be - that I never even turned it on. Sadly I returned it. Happily that was easy enough.

Pros
  • I am used to using loppers or a reciprocating saw to trim branches / logs but this does it much better.
Cons
  • Requires recharging regularly

do the job on my review.

I don't care if you call it a chick chain saw or what but it just works great for me. Being a small built woman it is not feasible to use those big hunky chain saw. I doubt I could even start it in the first place. This one I just charge the battery the night before then put it in the socket and ready to go. With one charge it last a long while. However, I would say for hardwood like cedar and crape myrtle they are not like cut through butter. Try something easier like a pine first and get a…

Pros
  • Replacement parts available: chain CMZCSC6, bar CMZCSB6
Cons
  • May not be able to cut branches thicker than 2 inches

Better than a chainsaw for me!

I am a 58 year old female who maintains 2-1/2 acres with lots of trees! This handy tool is much better for me than dragging around a chainsaw – AND safer! I love it!

Pros
  • Handy light Gets the job done
Cons
  • May cause vibration in hands during use

Works Great - my new review

Liked the fact that it stayed charged for a long time! Not too heavy. Also cuts nicely. Did get stuck a few times and needed help dislodging from branch. Could use better instructions that is all.

Pros
  • Great for trimming lager branchs.
Cons
  • Too heavy (for an old woman). Purchased a Stihl GTA 26 which is at least 5 lbs lighter.

Perfect for smaller jobs.

Being a woman regular chainsaw's scare me. This was a perfect buy for me. It cuts up to 6 inch limbs and is easy to use. I do recommend it if you need something other than a chainsaw.

Pros
  • Good product. Well made, great to use for small gardening projects.
Cons
  • Limited warranty period

Good tool, but not perfect

I like this tool, it's safe, relatively light, practical. It works better than a regular chainsaw when cutting small branches and small trees, because it doesn't jerk, doesn't vibrate.Battery life is excellent, even with the small 2 AHr battery.Negatives: it's a bit heavy and cumbersome for my older neighbor. The oiler is defective, and the included oil bottle leaks. in your pocket, in your car, leaks everywhere. The chain tensioning mechanism is cheap and not very good.Overall, I think the…

Pros
  • It offers a more efficient and faster cutting experience compared to traditional manual loppers, making it time-saving
Cons
  • May require additional safety training before use

These worked great!

I bought these to use on a 10 acre wooded property in Idaho. We needed to clear out some pine trees. Once my husband brought them down with a chainsaw, I was able to use these to cut them into smaller pieces to use as firewood. The trees are pretty small, so I would say these worked great for up to around 4". Anything larger and you may have to be creative.

Pros
  • The product has a fast charging feature that allows you to charge it quickly, ensuring that you don't have to wait long to use it
Cons
  • May require frequent recharging during long periods of use

SAFE. SAFE. SAFE best in my review

Finally I can let my wife cut tree limbs safely. She wanted a chainsaw a few years ago and I bought her a 14" chainsaw but after showing her how to use it, I was still reluctant to let her use it without my being with her. This solves the problem. She can cut the 3-4" branches SAFELY and I can take care of the larger ones.

Pros
  • I was very impressed at how capable this tool turned out to be
Cons
  • May not provide accurate cuts

Great saw for cleaning up tree limbs

This is the thing of nightmares. if you are a tree limb.I live on several acres of land and needed something electric that i can haul around beyond the reach of an extension cord. This made quick work of my pruning clean-up work.

Pros
  • Great product for women!!
Cons
  • Limited cutting capacity compared to traditional loppers

I can handle it and I a a 70 year old woman!

I am a gardner and rose grower. I use this chain saw to cut branches that I am unable to cut with my loppers. I had an electric one before and the cord was always inconvenient. I like the freedom of the battery operated one.

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • May cause damage to utility lines

Heavy but does a great job on branches.

A very save to use product. Both hands stay clear if the saw when using it.Battery charges in less then a hour.It cuts through branches easily.Wear safety googles especially when cutting overhead. It throws out a lot of wood chips.Very happy with this cutter.

Pros
  • Patented clamping jaws easily and safely grab and cut tree limbs
Cons
  • May cause injury to nearby individuals if not used properly

Great product for us "elderly ".

This item works for us. We had holly's and azaleas that got out of control and were 10 to 12 feet high. This chain saw had them down to the 3 foot level in 4 hours over two days, during off and on rain storms. Powerful, light weight and easy to use if you do not try to cut something to far outside it's range.

Pros
  • It has no cords, which means that you can use it safely even in wet or rainy conditions without the risk of electrocution
Cons
  • May not be suitable for trimming bushes or shrubs

A New Essential Garden Tool

The thing is easy to use and effective. I had three small stumps left after cutting down some shrubs. The tool ate them up, quickly and safely.

Pros
  • The lopper is designed to last, and its durability ensures that it won't break easily, saving you money in the long run
Cons
  • May require additional support during use

Inaccurate item description

The product info on ebay states ( What's in the box (1) CMCCS660E1 Cordless Lopper;(1) CMCB202 2.0AH 20V MAX* Battery;(1) CMCB104 20V MAX* 4A Charger;(1) Instruction Manual;(1) Bottle of Oil). The charger that it is supposed to come with is $59.00 on ebay and says it will charge the battery in 1 hour or less. What it came with was a cheap charger that can be purchased for $8.99 and after three hours on charge still did not fully charge the battery.

Pros
  • This eats right thru limbs and branches, be sure to wear eye covering and go at it.
Cons
  • Requires additional safety equipment

It’s Great! - my new review

Love these loopers! Easy to operate and works very well. The only issue I’ve had is the wood chips stick at the end of the saw that’s enclosed in the safety guard. I can however get it to shake out.I have to say this is one of my favorite yard tools, we have 8 acres and the looper makes the job of keeping paths clear very easy.

Pros
  • Gardening & Lawn Care
Cons
  • May not be suitable for cutting certain types of wood

Cons
  • Battery replacement is costly

Great saw! on my review.

We just had a bad storm. I bought the saw three weeks ago. Really came in handy cutting up fallen branches. Cut through 3" branches like butter. I'm glad I purchased it.

Pros
  • Good for trimming out of control trees bushes and heavy weeds in tight places
Cons
  • Loud and disruptive noise while operating
