Review on 🐠 JW Pet Company Fusion Air Pump 200: The Ultimate Aquarium Air Pump by Amanda Anderson

Not sure about other reviews here where the air pump only failed after a relatively short period of time. I bought our 2013 and was planning to replace it this year. I would say 6 years of use is reasonable. I opened up the device (I love tinkering and repairing) and found that the hard plastic covering that held the rubber membrane to the mount was torn along the edge of the mount. Cannot be glued/repaired as this part generates air pressure. I didn't bother to find out if the company offers replacement parts as shipping is likely more than buying a replacement. I guess it's the throwaway society we live in these days. So in my experience this was a decent pump that worked great for my 10 gallon tank.
