Update: I have a few pots that I'm ordering again. Here is a new photo to compare with the old scratched pot. I had an old pan about 11 months old and didn't follow the care instructions. I have reordered but will be careful not to wash in the dishwasher and use non-scratch cooking utensils. Washing in the dishwasher will wear away the coating, making it sticky. Also, make sure you're using cookware that won't scratch the enamel or wear down the non-stick coating, causing foods like pancakes and bacon to stick to the pan. Lesson learned. likely to reorder, but make sure you don't put it in the dishwasher and be sure to use the right utensils.
