Update April 2019: I've had this wallet for 5 months now and it still looks brand new. This is the real deal! Meanwhile I would buy a new wallet if I was using the old one and it was full of junk I don't need. This durable wallet will make you want to keep your junk to a minimum! The elastic cover has performed extremely well and should last at least a year if you don't abuse it. I don't have the money in the elastic in the photos but I usually have 1 to 5 bills in it and it's holding up great. Just me, at least 10 of these were bought by friends. beautiful. My friend is about to order another one for his son. He said that after receiving this wallet I gave him he will never use a regular wallet again. I liked it so much I bought 4 more as gifts. So far the two who received it are damn happy. Others even ask me where to get them! I compared it to my mate's real ribbed wallet and here's the spoon. It is almost identical to a ribbed wallet. The only differences are: the newer ribbed wallets do (most people take the buckle off to make the wallet smaller anyway). 2) The elastic band has no rubber dots inside to protect your money (this seems to hold money well though). 3) The head diameter of the screws is slightly smaller, which is the most important visual difference in direct comparison. Pretty much no problem unless you're trying to convince a wallet expert lol. 4) The aluminum interior has a slightly different shape. For me it's not really a problem. You might find it easier to fan the cards out with one or the other, but I haven't compared those. I just slide cards onto mine and it works for me. The fan didn't work that well, but maybe it wouldn't work that well on the ridge. If I try again with my Real RIDGE friends I will update my rating. But right now I don't care. In fact, I remember him saying he wasn't fanning his cards anyway. Other than that, these wallets seem to work and function in the same way. As for durability, time will tell, but I think it's durable enough. If it breaks, which I don't expect anytime soon, until then I might do something else or buy a brand new one for like $20. Anyway, I'm pretty sure it will last longer than my other $30 POS wallet and I absolutely love this thing! No, you do not collect receipts or business cards in this wallet. But it's good, isn't it? My leather wallet with a front pocket was also quite small, but because I could stuff it with business cards and receipts, it grew almost as thick as a normal wallet and tore at the seams. I had to replace this $30 thing every 4 months or settle for being shoddy. It was awkward. In terms of capacity, I have 2 EC cards, a flat health insurance card, a flat credit card and a DL in it. Some people report that the wallet is crooked or something, but that's likely to happen no matter what brand of this type of wallet you buy, as long as you have a few cards with raised letters. I only have two raised letter cards so I flip them over so they match and my wallet stays nice and flat. Although if I don't, it's not that big of a problem. This can be a problem if you have multiple cards with raised letters and just randomly insert them. Even if it doesn't affect me personally. In any case, I don't put cards in that I don't need. One review mentioned that they may have been made in the same factory as the original. The truth is. It's almost that close. Honestly, the differences are nothing to argue about. It's not just a cheap imitation. It looks 95% the same (no buckle) but I wouldn't say it's 5% worse as far as I can tell. Without a direct comparison you would never realize it was different other than the missing RIDGE logo and if you were careful enough to remember micro differences. For all intensive purposes, it's basically identical. As for the screw issues that others have reported, I haven't had any issues. But I've only been using the wallet for a few weeks. Be that as it may, the manufacturer has said the screws have been updated to address the issue, making the negative feedback on the screws a moot point. As for the sharp edges in another review, I didn't notice anything on the two I tested (the other 3 I bought are still either shipped or were shipped direct to whoever I bought them for bought). This has either been fixed or wasn't a problem to begin with. If anyone complains I will update my review. If you are considering these or any other wallet, sit back and get them. For only $20, there's no problem. The RIDGE costs about $115, which is a steep price for what you may or may not like. I would only use the comb if you really want to burn burnt titanium and money. However, burnt titanium is reported to scratch. Depending on how picky you are about such things, your purchase may only be satisfactory until you get a scratch. Some others like "character". If you really want a real RIDGE then go for it, but to be perfectly honest you would be a fool to spend 5-6 times for pretty much the same thing. said my piece. I spent unpaid time writing it that I will never get back, but I love it when people point me to little gems on the internet and want to pass it on. I'm just thrilled with my purchase. If I notice anything negative, I will definitely update my review. If you haven't heard from me yet, consider the time since this review a permanent thumbs up. That concludes my genuine, unpaid review of Bad A. Rock Master God Of Ninja Soul of December 26, 2018.
