Robust device, suitable for outdoor use. Press the power button and leave it for a few minutes to get apparently accurate readings of humidity and temperature (displayed side-by-side simultaneously). Remember that temperature and humidity can change on a daily basis. The device doesn't turn off automatically, which I think is common sense, the longer it's around the more accurate the reading will be? The battery lasts a long time, but be sure to turn it off when not in use.
