Smaller than I expected

Nice yarn but very little yarn. I've been looking for an alternative to the velvet yarn that Walmart sold last winter and was very hopeful, but this yarn is only slightly thicker than a red heart, very delicate, and doesn't have the voluminous effect I was looking for. Fifteen for three. So not what I expected after paying five bucks for a skein. Walmart cost $6.44 each. The photo is attached for reference. Nice! It just doesn't quite match what I was looking for.
