I LOVE this item! When I learned that a female lemur is called a princess, "Lemur Princess" was the obvious choice for Halloween. I work with children and animals so dressing up is a real pleasure. The diadem has some weight, it doesn't look cheap. Color and appearance are exactly as shown in the photo. There is a small loop at each end so you can secure it with bobby pins. There were two identical gold pins in the kit but I preferred to use my own. My tiara didn't fall off all day and I looked amazing! Rschunimagu. It also came with matching earrings, they were a bit cheesy and too appropriate for me. Instead, I wore earrings that matched my necklace. I don't remember how it was packaged other than having a plastic sleeve to protect it. For me a good buy at a good price.
