I ended up sending it back because I bought the wrong size. However, I don't know how convenient it would be for me to use this as my dog's sole bedding. There are noticeable gaps in the weave of the mat that allow liquid to flow through and fall onto the floor. My original plan was to use it as a buffer between the hardwood floors and the pee rug as my Yorkie has a habit of peeing right on the edge of the rug and always hitting the floor. Ready to order again but in a larger size. Delivery was quick and returning was even easier.
