We love this fence. He now keeps our dog in the garden after we spent an extra $100 on an aggressive collar. We have a 75kg non-aggressive dog but very friendly. The collar that went with it might as well have been a little rubber band around his neck. It did nothing to keep it going. I thought about buying an aggressive dog collar because it was stronger but then I decided I don't have an aggressive dog so I didn't buy one. So it costs more in the long run. We got the dog from the shelter and luckily the stronger collar worked or he would have had to go back to the shelter. As for the fence, it easily passed. We have 5 hectares, we bought the recommended wire, which was much longer, and laid it without splicing. We were using our John Deere tractor and the blade angle increased, but only by a few inches. I drove the tractor and my husband followed behind making sure the wire was in the ditch. We then went back and laid the ground/grass again with our feet and hoe. (The blade has grass and dirt combined into one, making it easy to flip.) We stuff with our feet, and then again with a tractor tire. This works great since I got a more aggressive collar! We had a lot of wet and frozen ground and he didn't mind.
