Review on ๐Ÿงฎ STEM Explorers MathLink Builders: 100-Piece Math Activity Set for Kids, Ages 5+, Kindergarten STEM Activities and Games with Mathlink Cubes by Christine Gillis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sturdy building blocks to get things moving.

, I was expecting these blocks to be connected in different ways. There is only one fork, all other parties take the fork. One end leads to the other. At first I thought it just made the things you built weaker, but it's actually an advantage when it comes to building things that move or spin (like robots, windmills, or gears). Blocks are approximately 3/4 inch. Very durable. I won't break them if I step on them. Rounded corners don't hurt, like Lego (big win for parents). With 100 blocks in 10 colors, there are many things to share or different things to do without running out of time. What I don't like is how difficult it is to separate and connect the blocks. They don't come apart, you have to use the movement to crack the egg. build at the table so the kids can press hard enough to put them together. My 4.5 year old has problems but my 6 year old has no problems so it might be for a 6+ rather than a 5+.
