Review on 📻 GE 74292 Spacemaker Radio/CD Player: Compact and Convenient Entertainment (Discontinued Model) by Allie Diaz

Like the other reviewer, we received two faulty models. Unlike her, we've never heard what a CD player sounds like. The radio sounded pretty good for its price and I suspect the CD would have sounded the same, but we couldn't get either unit to work as a CD player. Worse, the GE department responsible for this model has terrible customer support. They refuse to provide a phone number and expect users to provide their postal address and phone number in an online "we will contact you at our convenience" form on their website. As it turned out, the devices were indeed defective; but what if I just forgot to press a certain key where a CS representative could help me solve the problem over the phone and avoid a refund? That, plus the quality of the product itself, means I probably won't be buying a GE product for the foreseeable future unless it gets rave reviews here and elsewhere. In contrast, when the first device proved itself, Revain was very helpful in providing a replacement. defective and sending in return labels for both when the second turned out to be defective as well. Soon I will choose another model under the closet, just not another GE. What a PIA!
