Review on 🐈 Optimized Formula for Aging Cats: Royal Canin Feline Health Nutrition 12+ Loaf in Sauce Canned Cat Food by Andrea Sweet

Not very happy with this delivery of my subscription order. The description says 5.8 ounce cans each, in the last almost 1 year of orders I have received 24 cans of 5.8 ounces each. The last shipment we received a few days ago was 24 cans, each weighing 5.1 ounces. I didn't really pay attention to how much smaller the jars were until I opened one and fed my 18 year old cat a portion that absolutely would not eat prescription kidney diet food. I went to put the lid on the jar it was too big. I compared the cans, I have a few cans from the last batch, they were larger, 5.8 ounces, the current cans are 5.1 ounces and smaller in diameter. Since it is very difficult to seal and return all cans except the one I have already fed to my cat, I eat a $4 price increase and am almost 3 cans short of food because my cat needs to eat. But if the next batch are smaller jars and I can get 5.8 ounce jars from my pet store I will be canceling my subscription. I'm not sure if this was an honest mistake or if the company is trying to get more money out of the bank by scamming the customer, but I'm not a happy tourist and have no way of contacting the seller directly regarding this. I gave this supply of Royal Canin two stars because the jar size has changed, but my cat loves this food and will not eat prescription food. Addendum: 4/25/21. Well a month later I received the next batch and although the company contacted me and said to replace again, I didn't realize the size of the tin would be even smaller! I started ordering Royal Canin 5.8 ounces and the following month received a box of 5.1 ounce cans with no explanation or discount. Another chance they told me they would send a different size at a reduced price but I had no idea the tins would be even smaller! I have since canceled my subscription and will no longer purchase Royal Canin through Revain. The food is great but the subscription service isn't great. I take the big boxes back to the local pet store.
