Average quality, not a great product.

The food is good in composition, but it is inconvenient for the cat to eat it. Pieces, like small rice grains, scatter around the bowl, it is inconvenient for the cat to pick them up, as a result, after driving the food around the plate and eating half the portion, the cat gets tired of such a struggle and does not eat it anymore.

Nothing special, there are positive and negative sides.

I bought a whole package, but I was disappointed, there were high hopes for it, but I had to return to 7+, I left this one for a change, just in case. Different pros: The cat eats food similar to many wet foods of this manufacturer, but without enthusiasm. Cons below: Very large pieces - for an adult cat, and, moreover, an aging one, it is very difficult to chew them. Even compared to 7+ from the same manufacturer - well, just huge . the cat licks the sauce, and the pieces have to be given to…

Not just more time; Quality time

My 16 year old Manx has been steadily declining. She takes thyroid medication, her kidneys are failing; She lost half her weight and was reduced to skin and bones. She was always very active and noisy, but slept all day; she didn't "talk" to me in the mornings anymore. I bought this food because she showed interest in the cat food I bought for the kitten. She loves it! And now she's like a different creature! She gained some weight and became more active; I even caught her playing with kitty…

Great food for senior cats!

My cat is 13 years old and her age shows in her activity and movements. I was concerned about her joint health as she had difficulty with certain jumps (jumping onto a bed, couch, scratching post, etc.); I've tried giving her supplements but she hates them. I started looking for other ways to get her to take joint supplements and then I found Royal Canin for 12+! I decided to give it to my cat to try and to my surprise she liked it. She is now getting the right nutrients for her age and it…

Good choice for senior cats

Royal Canin is regularly maintained by the respected and highly trusted Wild Cat Veterinary Service in the San Francisco Bay Area (Nine Lives, Redwood City). I captured an elderly wildcat with severe ARI and took it to this vet where it was kept until it made a full recovery. Royal Canin was the main wet food for cats and he recovered well. They feed Royal Canin to the many wild cats in their care. I also have a rescue cat aged 12+ who I feed Royal Canin Aging 12+ daily and who loves it. From…

An abandoned cat that has found its forever home

Ugolka has settled in my barn and chirps when she sees me coming. She tried to purr, but it was a low purr. How do I know she purrs you ask? I feel it when I hold it. Anyway, one day she stopped eating. Royal Canin for senior cats caught my attention and I read the reviews. She started losing weight and when I started feeding her this she started eating again. Small amounts first. Now she is fine. I mix this food with dry food and she guards my stable from dragons and wild creatures again. We…

Not as described, 5.1 oz cans not 5.8 oz

Not very happy with this delivery of my subscription order. The description says 5.8 ounce cans each, in the last almost 1 year of orders I have received 24 cans of 5.8 ounces each. The last shipment we received a few days ago was 24 cans, each weighing 5.1 ounces. I didn't really pay attention to how much smaller the jars were until I opened one and fed my 18 year old cat a portion that absolutely would not eat prescription kidney diet food. I went to put the lid on the jar it was too big. I…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not bad

My cat has been eating Royal Canin for over a year since I was told I had to do the quantity reduce phosphorus in their diet. He used to prefer dry food, which is clearly not good for the cat's kidneys. I started experimenting with canned food with the lowest levels of phosphorus and worked my way down the list until I arrived at Royal Canin 12+. He loves to. He seems to like the taste and cleans his bowl. I usually add water to the jar before feeding him and it makes a little more sauce. The…
