I think I've switched to waxing! It's obviously a little painful, but definitely manageable (and I'm a wimp!). The best advice I can give is to let someone else do the stripes for you. I sprained my leg and was constantly afraid that the wax would stick to the leg. You have to rip the strip off in one fell swoop or it will go bad where you hesitated. My husband waxed my other leg and it went much better. It's been two weeks and my legs are still smooth! Definitely a lot more than shaving with a straight razor. My only complaint is that while the strips are reusable, the wax does start to get on your fingers and becomes very sticky after a while. My other problem is that you have to be very careful when taking out the strips because they tear. Out of 24 packs I only have 4 tears so it's not that bad.
