Less expensive than OEM and they fit perfectly! In a conversation with an HVAC professional, I found that you don't have to pay anything for branded oven air filters. Although there are quality differences in oven filters, it is often not necessary to buy the very best filters that filter as well as possible. In fact, the cheaper ones are often more than enough (assuming you don't have anyone in your house with a compromised immune system). Anyway, I asked him if that also applies to vacuum filters, to which he replied that it didn't. There is no need for a Hepa filter to stop dust mites and pollen particles as they are relatively large. As such, even lower quality HEPAs that only capture particles as small as 2-5 microns (600% less effective than true HEPA) are suitable, as dust mites are 20 microns and pollen is 30 microns. Pretty much the same advice as with oven filters. You need filters, but you don't need the best unless you're holding someone with a severely compromised immune system. I tried these filters as they saved me a few bucks and have had no complaints so far. I've cleaned them once a week and completely replaced them every year (every two years for the air filter) so far so good.
