I can't say enough about these stools! Love, love, love them! Solid wood countertops and each one is unique in the wood structure.I like the fact that they are restored.I usually find stools difficult to sit on,but the seats are wide and the feet are solid.The seats are slightly concave so that the edges of the seat doesn't cut my legs. The foot rest is at a good height too. As they are indoors and I use them outdoors I take extra care and seal them with a Thompson water sealer to protect the wood from moisture and protect in the bad weather and when not in use in the off-season. The bases are metal and heavy.
