I first heard about the magnetic mount when I bought the Mountek nGroove product and I have had many magnetic mounts on since then brought to market. As with all, unlike traditional claw holders, magnetic mounts are all about ease of removal and installation, as well as aesthetics as there are no ugly bezels holding your device and it looks like it's floating. The only downside/trade is that you have to permanently attach these opposing magnets to your device unless you're using a case or if your phone even has room/ability to close when the plates are put in without being physically glued shut will. Well I went the practical route and sacrificed permanent magnets on many of my devices/tablets (I'm not very happy with that) as I have quite a few of these magnetic mounts. I have no regrets about my decision to replace my old mounts with this magnetic mount as it looks better (now when installed than the plates that are now attached to my devices) and is so nice that it's lightweight on some can be removed/attached low thickness. This is great when you need to constantly attach/remove something, e.g. B. when you get out of the car and take the device with you. This mount holds my Nexus 7 and my 7" Garmin GPS perfectly. I just attached the suction cup to the dash and it's holding up well. I'll see how long it lasts because my other mount's suction cup sometimes came loose when I attached it parked from excessive heat.Now I know the Arkon brand as they seem to make all types of fasteners!They are a quality fastener brand that you can trust.
