Review on Epson Perfection V19 Color Photo & Document Scanner With Scan-To-Cloud & 4800 Dpi Optical Resolution , Black by Noel Pilla

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to use and very versatile

I pulled this from the box and setup was very easy. It loads the driver and interface and grabs power off USB so no extra large power pack needed. Not as heavy duty as my old flatbed, but then again I am not sure anything is these days. I would still be using it except the drivers will not go past Windows XP.What I like about this is.I can set 4-5 pictures on the bed and it scans them as separates! Just make sure you have a small gap in between them. So after scanning about 500 pics the 1st day, I was impressed. No bad noises. Quiet, and has several scan methods and graphics settings. The ONLY dislike I have is that the scan interface disappears after each scan so you have to select the icon again for each set of scans. I have not yet found a workaround for that in the menu system.I 'could' have dropped a star for that but its a minor detail. Does not affect the quality and function of the scanner. For what I paid, it already paid for itself in a day. Plus it is very light so unplugging the USB and storing it is easy.I recommend this. long term reliability I cannot speak of. I have had it for a few months and it's fine.

  • The scanner's feeding mechanism does not always align paper correctly, leading to crooked or misaligned scans
