I pulled this from the box and setup was very easy. It loads the driver and interface and grabs power off USB so no extra large power pack needed.Not as heavy duty as my old flatbed, but then again I am not sure anything is these days. So the description says 10s scans but there is no way unless you pick the lowest dpi and maybe if it is a document. I am scanning photos and it doesn't matter if I pick 300dpi, 600 dpi or 800 dpi it all takes about a minute to scan in. I have tried on two different computers so I know it isn't that. The scanner is slim, light; the included stand is a genius space-saver; the colors and scan resolution are great. So why the 1 star?There are 7 evenly-spaced missing "bars" of pixels on every scan. (on my second photo I only show 5 of them, because that was not full page)These are not just one missing pixel column either. In my first attached photo, that sample was scanned at 1200dpi (1/4 the scanner's max resolution) and there are already 4 columns of pixels missing from each instance.
