Cheaper than local store, better quality and easy to position. It is as thick as the other hard plastic ones but easier to maneuver and more transparent. Even after months of use, one edge doesn't lay flat, it curls. Fortunately it curls downward.Sometimes the mat shifts away from the position I want it and I have to move the chair off of it and slide it. Suppose I could use some super sticky double sided tape or something, but since the mat is clear, you'd be able to see it.Other than that, this mat is great.

Happy with the item construction, thickness etc. However, they should note the dimensions provided are NOMINAL and not ACTUAL. The 48”x48” size is more like 47.25”x47.25” and therefore should more accurately be described. They arrived in a ridiculously large Ebay box, which did nothing to "protect” the shabby thin, torn, manufacturers packaging. Great mat. It saves my hardwood floors. It’s clear and doesn’t stand out as an eye sore. I will buy another one for my other office.

I've had weights on the edges now for a week. When I lift the weights off, the edges curl up again in a few minutes. It makes for a tripping hazard. On the plus side, it's clear and smooth.

This is how my floor protector arrived. In the nice pretty Ebay box was this mess. Unbelievable that either the seller or Ebay would send something that looks like this! Literally looked like it had be dragged through the mud. It did clean up pretty well, although there are some visible scratches. This is just unacceptable to send a customer a package in this condition!

This floor mat is so transparent I kept vacuuming over it thinking it’s part of my hardwood floor! It lies flat and delivery was quick!

This has proven quite handy to protect the wood floor near my desk. It took a while to get the curve out of it from being rolled up. It is fairly flat now, but I probably should have used a hair dryer or something to soften it. It is still trying to be winter out here, after all. I tape down the edges to avoid tripping on it, but am quite pleased with how well it worked out in a home office.

Product is poorly made. The ends are still turning up. You can see all the marks on it from my desk chair. Feel like that shouldn’t be the case after a week.

After unrolling the mat and having it on the bedroom floor rolled out held dow on the corners I placed it under my desk. It looks very nice, but after a couple of days it has "lumps”.

Got this to go under a train table (the kind with rolling drawers). Perfect fit! Goes with any decor and helps protect our hardwood floors.

I bought this to put under a refrigerator because the crappy linoleum we bought is getting deeply scored. I am very pleased with the weight of this mat, it is heavy gauge plastic, and I hope it will last for a long time. I gave 5-stars for durability, even though I just bought it, but it really is a good thickness, so I anticipate that it will wear well.

I actually bought this to put beneath my large bird cage. It's a very clear plastic and my wood floors show through nicely. One would have to look closely to see it beneath the cage. The cage wheels don't scratch up the floor and the cage rolls easily over the surface. It also wipes clean.

My chair is on carpet so this slides around and gets jammed against the desk. Its also very flimsy in that it bunches up and dents from the chair wheels. The good thing is, those marks come back to normal.

This is just the size I wanted and it is durable. The problem with it is the ends of the mat (the ends that were at the ends of the rolled mat) will not lay flat. I weighted it down all the way around for 2-3 weeks. The sides are laying flat but the ends curl. If I roll off the mat my chair gets caught on the curl when trying to roll back onto the mat. I don’t want to tape it with duct tape or nail it so I guess I am stuck with it. It does protect the floor though.

I bought this because of the damage I was causing to the flooring in my home office. It definitely is protecting the floor under my work chair now. But each time I get up, the mat moves more and more to the left. It will not stay put.

Shipped fast and is working to stop desk chair wheels from scratching new laminate floors. I have had it for three weeks and it shows no sign of wear on the mat.
