Review on Epson Perfection V19 Color Photo & Document Scanner With Scan-To-Cloud & 4800 Dpi Optical Resolution , Black by Geoff Yates

Works great but it takes 60s to scan a photo

So the description says 10s scans but there is no way unless you pick the lowest dpi and maybe if it is a document. I am scanning photos and it doesn't matter if I pick 300dpi, 600 dpi or 800 dpi it all takes about a minute to scan in. I have tried on two different computers so I know it isn't that. Fortunately I am not doing a huge scan project in a couple days so it isn't the worst thing. The scans are very clear. I like that I can pick locations for my items to save that these old photos get a bit of a facelift with the software. My scanner printer I have made me crop each photo. it does scan quicker but only goes up to 600 dpi. This scanner allows for multiple photos to be scanned at once (which I found out after I did the single photo scan time test noted above). So at least I am getting a few scanned in at one time.If you want the entire item scanned with NO cropping of the edges you can NOT use this scanner on its side as it tells you to make sure there is a gap between the edges of the scanner so it won't be cropped.Overall I am sure there is better out there but for the price and what I am using it for it will do nicely.
