Review on Epson Perfection V19 Color Photo & Document Scanner With Scan-To-Cloud & 4800 Dpi Optical Resolution , Black by Percy Haulin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to use & store, but slow

I'm an artist and I needed a flatbed scanner for paintings/drawings that I'm going to sell online. I'm not a tech expert, but I've owned a few scanners now, and this one is "just alright." For the price, it's a good deal.Cons: slow, not perfect quality, don't like the software it comes with, noisyPros: price, just plug it in and it works, doesn't take up much desk spaceI like that I can have it on hand at my desk without needing to give up half my desk space (I actually just use it in its vertical position, works great!). I just use the default Windows scanner instead of its weird-ass Epson software. It is slow. You can scan maybe 2 pages a minute. I'm actually writing this review as I wait for it to scan a page.I was initially excited about the "scan as separate images" option. So if I have 3 drawings on one page, it will scan each drawing individually and make them separate files, basically. But it always crops in so much that the scan is unusable, and sometimes the software gets confused and it splits one image in half and scans it separately. Definitely not a practical feature in the end, and it's annoying to have to turn it off manually for every scan.Overally 4/5, would buy again!
