UPDATE So the remote seems ok but now my unit takes a few tries to turn on and the CD hangs because the eject button doesn't work. I can't change the time either. 🤨 Came in a small plastic bag marked "Made in China". The bag looked like it had been used a lot. In the midst of a pandemic, he took it out wearing gloves and wiped the remote before inserting the battery. There were no instructions for the remote control so I was glad the description explained which batteries (CR2025 or 2032) to buy. You need good dexterity and small fingers to open the battery compartment. I was wary, but after losing both remotes from my Bose (I) I was dying to get my system working again. I was pleasantly surprised when it worked and I have music again! I just wish it wasn't packaged with another large item, no packaging. Glad I got lucky! 🎼
