They are OK in tableware and serving utensils

Bought to store condensed milk for my coffee. Advantages: - inexpensive - the thread on the cap fits well on the bottle if you are careful when tightening it - the "ends" are fixed and won't get lost - relatively easy to clean thanks to the wide neck and the short, pointed tip. When you squeeze the bottles, the tips let some air through. If you fill with water and turn the bottle upside down the tips will leak - very thin construction, may deform when handled by hand - could be polyethylene but can't tell as the bottles don't have an (internationally recognized) number have code - everywhere. Pick up almost any plastic container and you'll see a small triangle of arrows with a number in the middle. this. the number "4" surrounded by three arrows in a triangle means "low-density polyethylene" (LDPE). This is a recycling code to identify what type of plastic something was made from. This is ideal if you have a small restaurant and want to leave self-service sauces on the tables or for the BBQ at home. I could have bought more because of the price. For the price but not sure how long they will last.
