First thing I bought after buying my model 3. The Tesla repair center told me that if something happened to the screen, the entire unit would have to be replaced for around $1400. Oops! The protective film is great. You might do better to mark which long side goes to the top of the screen as the screen is a bit oddly shaped. Not a perfect rectangle with rounded edges. One of its long sides is more curved than the other. In addition, the protrusions for holding when placing are weak. Not helpful at all. Two people worked on it. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend purchasing this item. It took me 7-10 minutes to install.
