Works, won't buy again

I bought this because of the USB power in the front, otherwise I would have chosen a better and cheaper Furman. I also liked the cable wrench idea. Arrived damaged, with left strut ear bent back about 30 degrees and chipped paint in several associated places. Styrofoam has melted on the power cord. Okay, these are mostly cosmetic issues that I can deal with. I was able to bend my ear back with a light push of two fingers. Wow. It's like 1/32" aluminum and not much stronger than a tin can lid. The unit cannot be rack mounted without flexing the ears because its own weight will flex the ears and the front of the case, damaging it. It has to come with another object or shelf underneath as suggested I have it on my digital mixer to make it work Rack mount ear design is ok but overpriced and overall poor quality so I wouldn't recommend it If you use USB Need power, consider Furman, and with your savings you can buy a USB power hub and some mini-power extensions if you need key tuning.

Pros
  • 3 widely spaced sockets on the front and 16 flexible power cord plugs on the back leaving room for power supplies and transformers. 4 USB ports to power all your favorite devices at the same time.
Cons
  • Expensive
