I thought this would be a great idea. I just cook for me, so even using a small Weber seems like a waste of briquettes. But using a chimney to cook meat that has a lot of grease spatter doesn't work well. When there is a grease fire as you usually get with most type of grill meat, there is no lid or air louvers like on a regular grill to control grease fire. And a chimney is pretty tippy compared to a regular grill. And this little grill just sits there on top, so it doesn't stay put very well when you flip the meat. I only used it a couple times then gave up.
