not good for burgers or bratts

I thought this would be a great idea. I just cook for me, so even using a small Weber seems like a waste of briquettes. But using a chimney to cook meat that has a lot of grease spatter doesn't work well. When there is a grease fire as you usually get with most type of grill meat, there is no lid or air louvers like on a regular grill to control grease fire. And a chimney is pretty tippy compared to a regular grill. And this little grill just sits there on top, so it doesn't stay put very well when you flip the meat. I only used it a couple times then gave up.

Pros

Fit my Rapidfire chimney starter perfectly. Great for getting that perfect sear on my sous vide steaks!

Cons

Requires work to set up and use, not as convenient as gas grills
