Review on 📶 D-Link DWL-1000AP 11Mb Wireless LAN Access Point 802.11b: High-Performance Connectivity for Seamless Wireless Networking by Scott Spoja

First of all I like this device. It was easy to set up and install and has worked for half a year without any problems. I installed one in one of our small field offices and liked it so much I bought it for my home. That being said, it doesn't seem to have as much range as some of the more "professional" systems, but it's also part of the price. I think this system is the best "SOHO" hotspot available. However, I have a few complaints. There should be an improved "locking" mechanism for the power cord. It kicks out and disables the network too easily. It's kind of funny because they provide you with mounting screws and offer to mount it high, leaving the power cord dangling unsteadily. However, I think this is a 'nit' and can be circumvented by installing it in an area with little traffic.
