I have a 25.5 inch head circumference and this helmet fits me perfectly. Not too tight and not too loose, just the way it should be. If I moved my head from side to side, it stayed in place. It covered my ears, but barely. So if you have a long head, this might not be the best option for you. Had trouble as it is DOT approved. Dollar for dollar it was a great purchase and a lot better than buying from a local weight store that was asking more than $100 for the same type of helmet.
