Review on ๐Ÿ•บ Timex Men's IQ+ Move: Track Your Activities with Style and Precision - Leather Strap Smart Watch by James Sevenfourgd

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent clock, app needs some work.

The watch was delivered on time, the packaging is in good condition. (Watch or packaging is undamaged.) The firmware is outdated and could not be updated with the iPhone. I borrowed an Android device and updated the firmware this way. After two firmware updates the clock worked. I didn't see anything in the (paper) documentation or on the Timex website that told me I needed to update the firmware - before I found that out I wanted to return the watch as faulty. I didn't like the watch strap so I replaced it with a NATO strap and finally a Bund strap. Both are more comfortable and easier to "fasten" than a standard bracelet. The glass is slightly scratched and the watch should not be changed (glass). Basically I like the watch. I'm limited by what I can say in the review so I'll be brief. The clock shows the time well and is easy to use. The software isn't the best, but it's easy to use. Bluetooth rarely connects to my iPhone (not a problem with other Bluetooth products, it's definitely the Timex app. There are others like Fossil that may work with your watch). You'll have to experiment to find the right sequence to pair your watch with your mobile device (sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn't). I recommend the watch with reservations. The software needs improvement, the clock keeps time well. Other functions such as B. a timer and alarm are available through my phone but less convenient than using the phone itself so I don't use them. The motion tracker works well, so I'm happy with the watch. The date, time, indigo display, and analog counter are all available at the touch of a button, but if you want to access the watch's other features (alarm setting, timer, trip distance, and sleep tracker.), you'll need a cell phone device. This is not a collector's watch and you will not pass it on to your grandchildren. The watch does what it is supposed to do (calculate time and track route). I don't like the aesthetics of smartwatches, so this is a reasonable alternative for me. All in all, I'm hesitant to buy a second watch, but I don't regret this purchase.

Pros
  • Tracks steps, distance, calories burned and sleep; Sync with phone via Bluetooth
Cons
