Not for big boys
Ordered for my 13 year old son. It is shorter (about 5 feet) and falls between boys and men. When tying it was too small. The tail was only about 4 inches long and the front touched his waist. I would definitely say this is more for an 8-10 year old boy or a tall boy with a thin neck. Definitely not for 12-14 year olds. I love the look and print of the tie and may keep it for my youngest son. I also like that it's a "real" tie.
