Review on Tidy Cats LightWeight 24/7 Performance Clumping Cat Litter by Purina by Diana Mitchell

Ever since Tidy Cat launched their LightWeight cat litter, I've been in heaven. No more heavy, bulky trash cans from store to car, car to home, litter box to litter box and trash can to trash can and trash can, over and over again. It clumps together nicely, like heavy things. The litter box is easy and convenient to scoop out every day. Some people have complained about excessive dust but I didn't notice anything at all. Others say it's small and easy to track around the house. I have to agree, but only partially. All garbage, regardless of its type, is tracked outside the bin. We bought a large rubber mat with little nooks and crannies for the tray, similar to the Petmate Litter Catcher Mat Extra Large, Grey, and it works really well for catching stray debris (the mat comes in a variety of sizes and we do have a mat of blue color). About twice a week I sweep the area outside of this sheet and the house stays clean and dirt free (except where it should be!). Many thanks to Tidy Cat for making this lightweight filler. I've been using this style for almost 6 months now. I will never go back to hard things.
