That's not to say that every oil pan gasket is 'easy' to install. I removed the gearbox and removed the flexplate to make the rear main gasket (and I rotated the engine so the harmonic balancer timing mark was pointing straight down on the bottom of the engine) to allow the oil pan to come loose a little easier. The old oil seal still worked, but I cut off both ends to make a headset, rear main oil seal, and rear main oil seal housing. I really like the Fel-Pro silicone rubber seals/seals.
