Review on 🧼 OXO SteeL Soap Dispensing Dish Brush - 10-Inch by Sarjus Baer

Great brush but some parts may have durability issues

My wife and I love anything with the word "OXO" on it and from the 20 or so different OXO items, that we own (from a sealed set of containers to assorted kitchen gadgets), this is the first negative experience I've had with one of their products. I've owned this dishwashing brush for over a year now and while I love its features and design I have to describe the problem I've encountered. allows soap to be dispensed from a hollow handle, has a noticeable crack on the side where the rubber meets the plastic body. Unfortunately, there is no longer a vacuum on the inside of the handle, which forces the soap out of the hole in the brush head. It's still a great brush, even without the killer feature, and I've since gone back to using it as an old-school scrubber, just pumping soap by hand onto the bristle head (from the OXO steel soap dispenser that sits atop the OXO sink ). ). Caddy) See? I told you we love our OXO! I haven't decided yet if I'm going to order another one of these bodies or if I'm just going to get a dispenserless brush (OXO of course!), but I have a few spare heads in line. used so I'll probably order another donor brush to use my extra heads. FWIW, I think that utensils like this that are used daily will probably last a year or so before their thinner parts start to wither and therefore need to be replaced, but I thought I should share my experience with others regarding this product .

Pros
  • Can be replaced with a brush, sponge or cleaning heads
Cons
  • Obsolete model
