Is that a DVD? is this a board game It's both - a board game on DVD. You start on the game board, roll a dice, move your hero and the square you land on indicates which task you will take on. Missions are televised and may involve choosing the best path around town to catch the villain before he/she leaves, which you do with the TV remote. If you succeed, the villain will be imprisoned and you will receive one of the villain cards. The cards are great - Viper, Leader Lizard, Magneto, Mr. Finster - there are more than twenty of them. Whoever has more villains wins. If you wish, you can play without a board and just take turns doing tasks. There are also trivia questions and a body part matching game. So if you don't know your Marvel heroes and villains to start with, you'll find out after a few games. these are tokens. I wanted 3D miniature superheroes. Playing on TV and on the board makes it a natural family game. DVD player, TV and remote control are required and not included. An interesting trend is emerging where games are independent of the console, computer or handheld and dependent on the TV, DVD player and remote control. Fun: Pretty fun but mostly for young people. Female Factor: At least one female superhero and supervillain. .Player friendly: easy to play.Review by Games4Girls
