Review on 🔑 Ignition Key Switch for Electrical Scooter 2 Position 2 Wire Type - On/Off Lock with 2 Keys for Car, Trike, Motorcycle by Todd Cowdrey

I bought this to add the ignition key to my child's toy car. Seemed perfect at first and worked. Then both children went uphill. The motors must have drawn maximum current from the battery and it stopped working. I checked the wiring and this switch melted. I'll have to buy another one that can handle a little more power. Also, it's unthreaded and there's nothing stopping it from rotating in the mount, just a small extra plastic tab. I sealed it with epoxy to keep it in place (which will make my replacement job even more fun). If you want a simple toggle for the main app, that's fine. Finally, just for the record, this is the simplest hot wire "ignition" in the world, so I wouldn't recommend this for anything you really need to keep the key safe!
