The product was received quickly and cheaply, which I am very happy about. However, when I tried to install the fan, I found a glaring problem. The standard fan, like its replacement, has asymmetrical fins so it can only be oriented in one direction. easy enough. However, the original fan's fins had a small ramp molded into the tip of the fin, causing it to lift and lock into place as it rotates. The replacement fan looks like the shape was designed for these inclines, but the leading edges of the fins are square instead of angular, making installation VERY difficult. In fact, I wasn't able to generate enough upward pressure during installation to overcome the lack of ramps. I almost got the damn thing back. Correction: I used a file to lighten the slight slope on the leading edge of each fin. It only took 5 minutes and then it installed perfectly and easily. So in the end it's still a lot for a perfectly working fan, but this issue could make a less mechanically savvy buyer return it in frustration. You need to contact the manufacturer and change the shape.
