My 07ft suburb's fan motor had been out for a while and finally gave up in the coldest week of the year! I received my new fan motor a few days after ordering and it only took 3 minutes to install! Best of all, it works like a charm, no more worn out noise and runs smoothly on all fan settings!

Removed the old motor and fortunately hooked up the new one to make sure it works before fully fitting it in. It doesn't rotate. After some digging I found that one of the motor wires was not connected at all! He opened up the engine case and soldered it himself. Huge headache. Luckily I had enough tools and experience to fix and install it. I doubt how long it will last, but I don't want to be without warmth anymore. ***WASTE PRODUCT***

Revane stated it partially fits although the part physically fits. However, the lack of a vent serves to supply air to another part of the HVAC system. Pretty annoyed. I looked at a few fans, they turned out to fit and all have the same design. This port is blocked. The only one with a hole is a GM AC Delco 90. Pretty annoying. Note that this connector is barely visible in the GM OEM AC Delco photos as whoever listed this item has no idea what it is for.

Almost identical to the original part but the corners of the tabs are chamfered instead of straight. It won't go in until I file the corners square. The photo shows the original with right angles on the tab and the tool I used to modify the new one. Maybe perfect for others, but it didn't fit my 2005 GMC Yukon XL until modified. I put this in a 2009 Sierra 2500HD. I'm glad I read the reviews first as I wasn't surprised by the necessary change to the mounting tabs. The image I uploaded shows a modified tab and one as it looked. I first used a dremel with a cutting wheel to shape the ramp and then went over it again with the dremel wire wheel to clean it up and smooth the edges. I did it the hard way. Of course, on a hot day, the fan stopped. Pulled the drag and it looked bad. I disconnected the fan motor from the battery using "crocodile" type wires. The fan motor rotates. I swapped the resistor and was happy for a day then it stopped again. Furnace motor replaced, now back on our feet. I had to replace both the resistor and the fan motor at the same time.
