I put this in a 2009 Sierra 2500HD. I'm glad I read the reviews first as I wasn't surprised by the necessary change to the mounting tabs. The image I uploaded shows a modified tab and one as it looked. I first used a dremel with a cutting wheel to shape the ramp and then went over it again with the dremel wire wheel to clean it up and smooth the edges. With modification it works immediately, without. You may get it eventually, but you will hate it. Once this drama is over, everything seems to be working fine.
