Review on Hunter 99166 Traditional Globe Chestnut by Abby Clark

If you've seen the original Hunter fans with the traditional globe shape like this, you'll know that all of their gear was previously built like tanks. Well folks, things aren't the same as before. The metal body is very thin. The lighting kit attaches to my Type-A fan adapter with two screws and doesn't fit properly because the included mounting screws are too long. I had to add my own small shims to eliminate play. The globe is approximately 12 inches in diameter and 7 inches in height. That size is ridiculous compared to most fans. Two stars because it works and they gave me a "free" lightbulb. Unfortunately, there really aren't any other options. I want them to bring back the true original.
