We have struggled to find one that will hold magazines adequately and this one is perfect, can easily hold mail for a week maybe two. It has a magnetic latch on the slotted door and items fall deep enough into the box to deter thieves. The box is strong enough to keep all but determined thieves out of it, and by determined I mean crowbars. The coating on the metal is good, I protect with car wax according to the instructions and use nano grease on the lock and hinges. Comes with all the necessary hardware we mounted to wall studs on a plastered surface and there is a gap at the back to allow water and air to pass behind.
