They do their job

You are fine. You do the work. These aren't the strongest nuts, but they work. We have some of these for some of the 3D printers we work with here in the office. They lend themselves well to the upgrades/improvements we create for them that need to be bolted to the frame. Just don't go crazy tightening these.
