Review on Franklin Brass P29521K FB C Lombard Piece by John Bailey

I did NOT want to replace kitchen cabinets in a house that we use seasonally; but I wanted to refresh the plain white (boring) laminate cabinets. I would have preferred a larger drawbar, but since the holes were already 3 inches, I went with them. For the price they are amazing! And they match my "cottage" decor better than the previous brass/white ones. They feel nice and heavy and easy to install. One small caveat when people use them as spares: although my old trains were 3"OC, the overall length of the old train was about 1.5" longer. Removed the old rods, there were bluish black stains on the casing from the ends of the rods from years of use and abuse. In my case the cabinets are laminate so I could rub off the marks but I imagine some cabinets can be permanently painted or marked in which case you may need a train with a larger footprint? I am very happy with this purchase and the inexpensive change it has made to my kitchen!
