Cheaper sanitary facilities?

The bathroom sink was clogged, I used this with my variable speed drill and after a few tries the sink finally cleared. Pros: Even if it only works once, it's still cheaper than a plumber. It will work with any variable speed drill that can handle 1/4" (6.3mm). You can also do it manually, but I haven't tried it, I assume it will be much more difficult. Not difficult to use. Cons: The tube was completely clogged and I had to do a lot of pounding and twisting to get the cable through, I almost gave up! Then there was a lot of cleaning! Before I could send the cable back I had to wash it and let it dry outside. If you don't, it will likely rust, smell, and be difficult to use again. The trigger will stop feeding the cable when it meets slight resistance. Pulling the trigger, wiggling the cord, pulling the drill trigger, holding the drill and drain cleaner while crouching under the sink was no easy task! Other thoughts: Be prepared for a mess, unless you're a plumber (like me) you'll find that freeing up a sink isn't as simple as sticking the end of the cord into the hole in the sink and starting with that feed cable. You'll probably have to crawl under the sink and dismantle the pipes up to the wall so you can run the cable. Make sure you have a bucket for all that dirty water!
