Overall I'm very happy with these poles, I've bought all sizes for different windows so all the windows in the house fit together. They have a modern yet classic look and can easily fall into the much more expensive category. I have rope loops that attach the curtains to the rod so I had no trouble scratching the surface. My only problem is with my longest bar, it sags a little in the middle as the screws must have been set too low for the hardware. A stronger stem would probably make such a small assembly error virtually imperceptible, but since the stem is lengthened here, it actually exacerbates the problem. This is of course my own fault, so don't worry about the manufacturer, just pay attention to your setup! And pre-drill those holes after you've made the plan! I tried shortening the pitch and drilling the screw right in (installing straight into the wood panels so no need for drywall anchors) and ended up going back to reinstall a window because I was a little wrong. This is all amateur stuff though, just trying to save the other person the extra work.
