These scoops are ideal for second scooping fine corn/casava cat litter (Garfield Ultimate Tiny Grain and Sustainably Yours Multi-Cat Plus). This is the most amazing filler I have ever used but it is very good. My old litter scoop handles simple clumps well. But sometimes when the cats in the crates are too aggressive (I have 2 male cats that love to play in the litter) some of the clumps will break down into smaller particles that my regular scoop won't pick up. These scoops are perfect for that. It's a fairly fine mesh - not too fine for individual grains to fall through, but fine enough to catch the smaller clumps that my main scoop misses. I'm glad I found these reptilian shovels. I've been searching crazy for fine mesh cat litter scoops and haven't found anything.
