first let me say the training wheels work! I have them on my kid's mini bike and they keep it from falling off. That being said, I think they will easily last long enough that she no longer needs them. My first complaint is that the instructions are rubbish. I'm decently mechanically inclined now, but good guidance is always welcome to make sure everything is done right. Step 1 Open the box, Step 2 loosely attach the center bar to the footpegs, Step 3 install the wheels, Step 4 tighten the screws. no article names, no suggestions for different bike models and no torque specifications. I ended up breaking one of the brackets (cast iron) long before I thought it should be in any danger. After it broke I just tightened it as tight as I could and it seems to work fine as 2 pieces instead of the intended 1. My wife (about 100 pounds) drove it before I wanted to give it to her daughter. . everything seemed to be fine. This is clearly a low quality item, don't expect much but I have a feeling it will do the job until my daughter is safe enough driving without it. Have a nice day folks!
