Totally useless - they put out 1/10 to 1/4 volts - a huge waste of time and money - AVOID - AVOID - AVOID
Bought 2 of these to use a 12v solar panel which puts out around 20v in bright sunlight as I use the panel to charge 6v batteries. After connecting them I tried one and then the other - neither of them output more than 1/4 volt. Obviously this is not enough to calculate anything. Instead I had to put the 6v batteries in series and charge them directly from the 12v solar panel and remove the 6v battery from one of the batteries to power the trail camera.
